Cookie Policy
Last updated September 6, 2026
1. What this covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on getollieapp.com, the Ollie marketing site. Storefronts that businesses publish with Ollie are governed by those businesses’ own notices; the Ollie dashboard uses only the essential sign-in cookies listed below. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
2. Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether we may use analytics cookies. Nothing in the analytics table below loads until you accept. You can change your answer at any time from the link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent clears the cookies those tags set on this site and reloads the page without them.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a “no” and load none of the analytics tags, without asking. We honor that signal as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information under California law. We do not respond to the older “Do Not Track” browser setting, which has no agreed meaning.
3. Essential storage
These are needed for the site to work or to remember your choice, and run without consent.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| ollie-consent | Your answer to the cookie banner, so we don't ask on every page. | Kept until you change it |
| ollie-signup-attribution | Where your visit came from (a campaign tag or the referring site), passed to the sign-up form if you create an account, so we know which channels bring in businesses. Session storage, first party, no identifier. | This browser session |
| ollie_access, ollie_refresh | Keep you signed in to the Ollie dashboard at app.getollieapp.com. Not set by this site. | Until you sign out |
4. Analytics and advertising cookies
Loaded only after you accept. Each provider receives your IP address and browser details and sets its own cookies; the links go to their own privacy notices.
| Provider | Cookies | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | _ga, _ga_* | Counts visits and pages, and which pages lead to sign-ups. | Up to 2 years |
| PostHog | ph_* | Heatmaps: where visitors click and how far they scroll on the landing page. No session recordings. | Up to 1 year |
| Meta Pixel | _fbp | Measures whether Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits and sign-ups. | 90 days |
5. Embedded content
The demo page can show a booking calendar from Cal.com. It loads only if you have accepted cookies or press the button to load it, and Cal.com then sets its own cookies under its privacy policy. Fonts, images and video on this site are served by us, not by a third party.
6. Browser controls
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the essential ones will stop the dashboard sign-in from working; blocking the rest has no effect on the site.
